While the fifth-gen Buick Regal
just turned four years old in North America, having landed on dealer
lots in February of 2010, the original model that is none other than the
Opel (Vauxhall in Britain) Insignia, has another two years on its back, reaching that period in a car's life (6 to 8 years old) when a replacement is due.
GM
hasn't opened its cards yet on what it plans to do with the Insignia
and its Buick soul-mate that is sold in China as well, but Carscoops reader Damian Sebastian has come forth with a rendered proposition.
The design study for the next Insignia mainly draws inspiration from the Opel Adam city car (roof) and the German brand's recent Monza Concept (front end), which the automaker had said encompasses the styling it will use on future models.
